This screen helps you configure Android settings required by the MaxMon app. Invalid or conflicting Android settings are shown with a warning triangle icon. Touch a setting to go to the relevant Android settings screen.

  • Google account - Add a Google account to the Android device, so it can install and update apps and send and receive emails (more...).
  • Date/time - it's very important that the date, time and time zone are set accurately in Android, or there may be problems with network connectivity (more...).
  • Android updates - disable any Android auto-update settings, to prevent unattended and potentially incompatible over-the-air Android updates (more...).
  • App updates - launches the Play Store app. Find the settings (usually via an 3-line icon on the app home screen) and disable auto-updating of apps (more...).
  • Mobile data - if you want the MaxMon app to use mobile data at your monitored location you need to enable it in Android (more...).
  • WiFi - if you want the MaxMon app to use WiFi at your monitored location you need to enable, configure and connect to it in Android (more...).
  • Bluetooth - if you are using the MaxMon app with a Quatropus2 accessory you need to enable Bluetooth (more...).
  • USB debugging - if you are using the MaxMon app with a Quatropus1 accessory you need to enable USB debugging (more...).
  • Location - if you want the MaxMon app to track location enable GPS and/or wireless location sources (more...).
  • Shortcut - add a MaxMon app shortcut to the Android home screen.
  • Settings - go to the Android settings home screen (if you cannot find a setting).
